Rebekah and Lukas Schafli are the proud parents of Sayde and Heidi. As of October 2008 the family lives in Phoenix, Arizona. The move was sudden and unexpected. The Schaflis started their family in Colorado Springs, Colorado and hoped to settle down there. On this website the family shares their memories from that time and the new ones they are making in Phoenix.
The two of us met pursuing God’s call in missions through Mission Aviation Fellowship. Rebekah was pursuing a life long dream of teaching overseas and Lukas was realizing his dream by becoming a missionary pilot for MAF. We had grown up worlds apart, and it was a challenging road to bring our lives together. However when we least expected it, God opened the doors for a fairytale Wedding in Switzerland.
